African Lens Exhibition

Cape Town

Taj Hotel, Cape Town
South Africa

December, 2016

African Lens is a voice searching for authenticity in African photographers and artists. Our focus is on professional African photographers who are not yet at the peek of their career.

African Lens exhibitions aims to tell African Stories through beautiful and rich photography thereby, changing misconceived narratives of the African Continent told by the West. Collaborating with the Taj Hotel (Cape Town), phase one of the African Lens exhibition took place right in the heart of Cape Town’s City Centre.

The exhibition featured the works of photographers across Africa such as Fundiswa Ntoyi (South Africa), KWVKU (Ghana/UK), Yannis Guibanga (Gabon), Zakaria Wakrim (Morocco) TJ Letsa (Ghana), DidiWho (Congo), Kgomotso Neto (South Africa), Enefaa Thomas (Nigeria)

African Lens would like to thank the staff of the Taj Hotel (especially Mandy, Manageress of Banquets) and the beautiful city of Cape Town for welcoming us and giving us the platform to exhibit our photographs.
